Job Description
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and pleasant service
- Welcome guests according to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards
- Supervise the Chefs de Rang, Commis, and Hostesses
- Manage reservations with hostesses and the seating plan
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Participate in menu development in collaboration with colleagues
- Control inventory and daily requisitions
- Advise customers on suggestions and dishes proposed daily by the Chef
- Oversee service from start to finish
- Pay attention to comment cards for continuous service improvement
- Immediately report any malfunction in the work environment or equipment
- Ensure good internal communication, prepare briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in catering
- Available mornings, evenings, and nights
- Ability to work in a team and leadership skills
- French, English, and Italian languages
- Knowledge of Micros, Microsoft is a plus
