The municipality of Suhr in the canton of Aargau, with over 11,000 inhabitants, is a suburban community of the cantonal capital Aarau. Suhr is easily accessible by public and private transport and offers an attractive local recreation area.
The operational management of the Suhr school is carried out by eight school principals, including the music school management, and the overall school management. The school administration supports the school management and teachers in everyday school life and is available for questions and concerns of the population.
We are looking for a principal (50%) starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement
to lead Cycle 2 at the Feld school center
Tasks
Personnel, pedagogical, and organizational management of around 30 teachers and assistants, 180 students, and 8 departments
Creating a pleasant teaching and learning environment
Responsibility for quality and teaching development at the Feld school location
Further development of the team considering resources
Collaboration with the school principals, the overall school principal, school social work, and external agencies
Qualifications
Completed school management training or willingness to acquire it promptly
Leadership and teaching experience
High social and self-competence and pronounced cooperation and organizational skills
Resource-oriented and appreciative leadership understanding
Willingness to initiate and further develop renewal processes as well as continue ongoing projects
