Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Assistant part-time (60%) to strengthen our team at the Staufen-Lenzburg branch in Staufen, Switzerland. As a Sales Assistant, you play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to expand their skills in retail and sales.

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide customers with product information and recommendations
• Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Handle cash and credit card payments and maintain an accurate cash drawer
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized
• Restock inventory and create attractive product displays
• Assist with inventory management and stock counting
• Work with team members to achieve sales targets
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions

Qualifications

• School diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in retail or sales preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, courteous demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with POS systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to meet sales goals
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Familiarity with the products and services offered by our company is a plus
