Tasks

Your mission
Reporting to the Director, Accounting you will play a key role in general ledger accounting, helping ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX Requirements.
The value you bring:
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual GL Closing activities in accordance with IFRS & Local GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with internal control and SOX documentation requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to enhance the structure and accuracy of financial data in the ERP system.
- Provide ad hoc support for standard cost calculation, updates, and analysis.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to analyze production variances and cost drivers.
Requirements
We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:
- 2-4 Years of experience in financial audit, public accounting or similar corporate accounting role
- Direct working knowledge within an international or publicly listed organisation is highly valued, with an understanding of multi-entity finance & accounting.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles, internal controls, international standards and SOX.
- Exposure to cost accounting principles is an advantage
