Service description:
The EMS "Les Jardins du Léman" with a capacity of 51 beds aims to offer its residents the best possible quality of life, in a medical environment adapted to their specificities.
Our support approach is based on building a relationship of trust with the residents, their relatives, and the medical staff, as well as taking into account their life paths, desires, and needs. This respect for the person is reflected through medical care provided by our qualified nursing staff.
Job description:
In your new role, your tasks will impact the quality of care for the residents. Your role will notably consist of,
- Working within the 2 EMS services (geriatrics and psycho-geriatrics)
- Taking care of a group of residents by stimulating their autonomy or, if necessary, compensating for their needs according to their level of dependency
- Ensuring personalized care
- Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
- Transmitting and recording your observations in a targeted and relevant manner in the computerized resident file
Required profile:
We are confident in your rapid success in your future role thanks to your:
- Strong interest in caring for elderly and/or dependent persons and/or those with cognitive disorders
- Patience, empathy, active listening, high skills in verbal and non-verbal communication
- Good physical and mental endurance
- Flexibility in scheduling (day/night work/continuous and split shifts)
Education level:
Professional Training Certificate in Care and Support Assistance (AFP ASA) or equivalent diploma
Exceptionally, the position would be open to holders of the certified health auxiliary diploma by the Swiss Red Cross
