About the job
University Intern in the Audit Areas
Who we are
We at the Swiss Federal Audit Office are the highest financial supervisory authority of the federal government. We check whether the administration uses federal funds in compliance with the law, economically, and effectively. In addition, we are also the independent federal contact point for whistleblowing. This way, we support Parliament and the Federal Council in exercising their supervision over the administration. We not only have exceptionally exciting tasks, but we are also an extraordinary employer. Because what you do here is important for Switzerland's success model. You look closely and ensure that tax money is used effectively. We are an organization with a clear structure and short communication paths. Here you will meet 140 other smart minds with interesting biographies who work with you on complex projects. Working like this is fun! In small, individually composed teams, we conduct over 150 audits per year. In doing so, we repeatedly enter new territory and examine the handling of issues that move Switzerland. In addition to broad expertise and a good general education, a good dose of intuition and curiosity is also required here.- Workplace Bern
