gaw is a non-profit organization and has stood since 1987 for professional and sustainable work and residential integration for people with mainly psychological impairments in the Basel region. A diverse team of around 100 professionals contributes in the areas of retail/production, gastronomy, housekeeping, packaging and shipping, commercial professions as well as housing with around 230 supported work and training places and 35 partially supervised residential places.

Your mission - with meaning & responsibility

You supervise, lead and train our apprentices and employees with support needs.
You independently manage your department (focus: baked goods) including ordering and assortment maintenance.
You professionally document the training progress (Abacus).
You take over the deputy role in other departments and ensure smooth processes.
You live our quality standards and actively contribute your ideas.

Your profile - competent & empathetic

Completed training in retail EFZ (food mandatory)
Leadership experience
Several years of experience in the fresh/food sector
Joy and patience in dealing with people with special needs
Trainer course is an advantage
Independent, structured way of working with a flair for numbers
Good IT skills (SAP, Abacus, MS Office)
Flexible deployment in day shifts
