Looking for, for social services, a Head of Social Services at 30% (Ref: RSSV-25-12)
Mission
You will be responsible for the social service that works with the population of the 9 municipalities of the Veveyse district. You will ensure, in collaboration with your team, to offer social services to anyone in need. You will ensure the relevance, adequacy, and quality of the services provided in accordance with the new cantonal law on social assistance (LASoc). Main activities
- Lead the service towards the application of the new cantonal law on social assistance (LASoc)
- Manage your team
- Be responsible for and control the quality of the services provided
- Guarantee compliance with staffing and allocated budgets
- Establish short, medium, and long-term internal objectives for the entire service in collaboration with General Management
- Collaborate on cross-cutting projects
- Holder of a Bachelor HES in Social Work (Social Service orientation) or a diploma deemed equivalent Confirmed professional experience in a similar role, with team leadership.
- Advanced continuing education in management, team management, or public administration is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of the Swiss social and health system, public policies, and cantonal arrangements.
- Ability to work in a network with various partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative leadership, organizational and decision-making skills
- Rigour, solution orientation, and pragmatism
- Ease with administrative tasks and budget management
- Knowledge of public administration operations is an asset
