Accounting Clerk (a)
Our team is responsible for the accounting of six operating companies with branches at eleven different Swiss locations (managed as profit centers) as well as a management and holding company. The accounting is done centrally in Rothenburg/LU. We are looking for a committed individual to actively support our finance team, consisting of seven people. If you enjoy numbers, structures, and processes and want to develop further, you are exactly right with us.
Your tasks
- Active co-responsibility in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP including careful reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Critical analysis and review of the prepared financial statements for plausibility and accuracy
- Posting and reconciliation of daily bank transactions as well as maintenance of general ledgers and sub-ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts payable & fixed assets accounting including depreciation)
- Recording and control of accounts payable invoices in the preliminary system (accounts payable workflow) up to the creation and execution of payment runs
- Identification and implementation of optimization potentials in existing processes as well as active design and further development of administrative procedures
- Independent preparation of statistical evaluations
- Clarifications and clean-ups of reconciliation accounts with internal and external parties
- Assuming deputy roles within the team
Your profile
- Completed further training as an accounting clerk with at least 3 years of experience
- Strong affinity for numbers and interest in accounting issues
- Fluent German skills; knowledge of English, French, and/or Italian is an advantage
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Team player as well as friendly and customer-oriented demeanor
