Deputy Chief Radiology Technician

In this role, you take on important responsibility in our radiology department at Zollikerberg Hospital. You ensure very good workflows and contribute empathetically as a team player with new ideas.

If you also want to make a difference in people’s lives, these are your tasks:

• Support of the Chief Radiology Technician in the professional, organizational, and personnel management of the radiology team, including deputizing in duty and deployment planning during absences
• Co-creation of a motivating work environment through active participation in clinical daily routine in the sense of a role model and foreman function (presence, thinking along, and "pitching in as a team")
• Professionally sound supervision of the team’s performance quality (e.g., image quality, work processes, patient safety)
• Co-responsibility for the training and supervision of students at the radiology vocational school
• Ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and patient-oriented examination operation in all modalities (CT, MRI, conventional X-ray, ultrasound assistance, fluoroscopy, etc.)
• Support in the introduction of new devices, methods, and processes
• Participation in projects and in the further development of the department

Become part of our fully digitized radiology department, which covers the needs for high-quality imaging diagnostics with modern infrastructure (CT, MRI, DR, mammography, US, DEXA, and interventional radiology). In our versatile operation with focuses on internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology with an attached neonatology unit, an average of 25,000 radiological examinations are performed annually.

This is how you convince us:

• Degree as a certified radiology technician with several years of professional experience
• High professional competence in several modalities (conventional X-ray, CT, and MRI (experience in cardiac imaging is an advantage))
• Very good written and spoken German skills and pronounced social competence
