Tasks
At the upper school with the two locations Schinznach and Veltheim at the entrance to the Schenkenbergertal, around 280 students from the five municipalities Auenstein, Schinznach, Thalheim, Veltheim and Villnachern are taught.
As of August 2028, the district upper school Schenkenbergertal will be transferred to the regional upper school Möriken-Wildegg; the school management workload is also secured in the new organization. The total school management workload amounts to 125% and is covered by an overall school management and an area school management.
Due to personnel changes in the previous team, we are looking for a principal to support the overall school principal from February 16, 2026.
Your tasks
- Personnel management in coordination with overall school management
- Conceptual work (including school and teaching development) in cooperation with the overall school management and the staff
- Quality assurance / quality management in cooperation with the overall school management and the staff
- Responsibility for infrastructure and caretaking
- Responsibility for ICT
- Coordination of special activities (school trips, camps, project week, excursions)
- Student and parent meetings
Requirements
You bring with you
- Pedagogical training or an equivalent degree
- Principal training, comparable leadership training or willingness to train
- Several years of professional and leadership experience
- Organizational and planning skills
- Motivated, innovative, resilient personality
- Confident communication skills and presence
- Resource-oriented and appreciative leadership understanding
