Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical scheduler (m/f/d) for our Life Sciences team in Basel. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to ensure the successful execution of complex Life Sciences projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using advanced project management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture project requirements and define project scope.
- Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks in project schedules
- Conduct resource allocation and optimization to maximize efficiency
- Perform regular schedule updates and inform stakeholders about progress
- Analyze project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Create reports and dashboards to provide an overview of project status and key metrics
- Support the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Continuously improve planning processes and methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biosciences, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the biosciences industry
- Good knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with resource management tools and techniques
- Good knowledge of risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with Life Sciences industry processes, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA guidelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluent English skills; German language skills are a requirement
