Wood Construction Draftsperson (M/F/D - 100%)
Your mission:
Within the technical office and in close connection with the project management, you ensure the structural design, sizing, and technical development of wood projects, from the study phases to production and execution monitoring.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and static sizing of wood structures (carpentry, wood framing, CLT, facades, special structures)
- Development of optimized construction solutions, economically and technically relevant
- Elaboration and validation of structural principles in collaboration with draftsmen and the technical office
- Technical coordination between engineering, drafting, prefabrication workshop, and construction site
- Participation in project reviews, technical meetings, and adjustments during execution phase
- Technical support to project managers and site supervisors
- Contribution to the preparation of data for prefabrication and CNC machines
- Participation in site monitoring and handling of technical issues
Your profile:
- Training as a wood construction engineer, civil engineer, or equivalent training
- Confirmed experience or successful first experience in wood engineering
- Mastery or strong interest in wood sizing standards and methods
- Sensitivity to prefabrication processes and industrialized construction
- Interest in digital tools (Cadwork, BIM, engineering-production interfaces)
- Analytical mind, rigor, and autonomy
- Taste for collaborative work between engineering, workshop, and site
- Bilingualism in French/German is an asset; non-French-speaking collaborators can improve their French in a caring and collaborative environment
