Specialist in General Internal Medicine / General Practitioner / Family Doctor
Job Description
- Conduct medical consultations to diagnose, treat, and monitor a wide variety of pathologies, while ensuring the general health of patients.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, including clinical examinations, medical history, and necessary prescriptions.
- Consider patients’ medical histories to provide tailored advice and recommendations, especially for managing chronic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, asthma, etc.).
- Carry out regular patient follow-ups, ensuring comprehensive, preventive, and acute pathology management.
- Maintain up-to-date medical records, ensuring precise traceability of consultations and treatments administered.
- Implement preventive actions, particularly in screening, vaccination, and advice on healthy lifestyles.
- Keep medical knowledge current and regularly train to provide quality healthcare services.
- Coordinate work with other specialists if necessary, within multidisciplinary care frameworks.
Qualifications
- Degree as a General Practitioner, Family Doctor, or Practitioner recognized in Switzerland or eligible for equivalence.
- Registration or MEBEKO recognition in Switzerland or in process.
- Proven experience in general medicine and management of varied pathologies.
- Skills in preventive health management and chronic disease care.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish trustful relationships with patients.
