The Office for Spatial Development (ARE) is the cantonal specialist office for spatial planning, geoinformation, and cultural heritage preservation as well as the enforcement office for the cantonal value added compensation. It contributes to promoting the quality of location of the living and economic area of Zurich and creates the conditions for attractive settlement and landscape areas.

We are looking for a secretary for the enforcement office of the cantonal value added compensation to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks:

• First point of contact for all telephone and written inquiries and concerns regarding the cantonal value added compensation
• Coordination point between the various internal and external actors in the process of the cantonal value added compensation (property owners, spatial planners, real estate appraisers, legal experts, land registry offices, courts, accounting, etc.) responsible
• Monitoring and ensuring the process flows
• Independently triggering individual defined process flows (e.g. invoicing)
• Creating and sending correspondence and orders according to the specifications of spatial planners, real estate appraisers, and legal experts
• Document filing as well as other administrative tasks
• If suitable and interested, participation in the further development of processes and the necessary tools

You bring with you:

• A commercial or comparable education
• Flawless, stylistically confident German language skills in spoken and written form
• Very good knowledge of Office applications
• Independent, efficient, precise work, reliability, and sense of responsibility
• Service orientation, openness, and team-oriented work
• Experience in public administration or the real estate sector
