Job Description
Role purpose:
Performs analytical routine tasks according to method/SOP as well as (GLP) tasks under supervision. Delivers reliable, standard-compliant documented results. Communicates appropriately within the department.
Accountabilities:
- Performs laboratory work according to work instructions; performs non-routine tasks under guidance
- Delivers results in good quality and quantity within the timeframe
- Works as a GLP analyst under the supervision of more experienced colleagues
- Coordinates tasks daily/several times a week, plans with a horizon of 2-5 days; independently organizes necessary information
- Integrates into a team
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Relevant vocational training (e.g., laboratory technician)
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; basic English skills
- Basic expertise in own work area (e.g., chromatography, product chemistry formulation); ability to perform standard tasks (e.g., routine LC analyses)
- Experience in operation and maintenance of analytical instruments; continuous expansion of professional knowledge
- Identification and communication of problems during analyses
- Chromatography data system, LIMS, Smartdoc, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and adherence to requirements/processes in analytics and all relevant WMU procedures; openness to change
- Compliance with the Syngenta Code of Conduct; exemplary HSE behavior; active search for improvement opportunities
- Good comprehension, willingness to learn, openness to constructive criticism, appropriate responsiveness
- High willingness for further development, assumption of responsibility, proactivity; individual responsibilities/militia tasks
