Your team
The Corporate Functions division groups the non-banking activities of the Group and has more than 600 employees. Managed by specialists who have a thorough knowledge of all business lines, the central functions are divided into various departments: Communication, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organization, Risk and Taxation.
Reporting to the head of the HR Legal team, your mission will be to provide legal support to the employees of the Human Resources department and other business sectors of the Pictet group with regard to labor law, as well as internal regulations.
Your role
• Provide legal advice on all matters related to Swiss labor law (including social security law) and internal guidelines, both for the HR department and for other departments or entities of the Group.
• Support the negotiation, drafting and review of contracts, agreements and other legal documents related to human resources.
• Prepare and/or review various legal documents, ensuring compliance with obligations arising from applicable legislation and regulations.
• Handle and follow up on certain legal cases, including litigation management, representation before authorities, complaint management
• Contribute to large-scale local and international HR projects, providing legal support on issues related to labor law, social security and other related topics.
• Raise awareness and train HR and business stakeholders on legal issues, sharing your expertise and promoting the dissemination of best practices.
• Anticipate and implement legislative and regulatory developments in labor law (legal monitoring), ensuring compliance of HR policies and processes.
Your profile
• Swiss bar certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of significant practical experience in labor law, ideally gained within a law firm, a multinational company or a banking environment.
• Experience in negotiation, litigation with opposing parties and judicial matters
• Native French speaker, combined with excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge and command of German is an asset.
• Autonomy and ease in drafting contracts, as well as other legal documents in French and English.
• Proficiency in common computer tools (MS Office).
• Excellent organizational skills, combined with a rigorous and pragmatic approach.
• Ability to translate conceptual ideas into operational actions and to communicate with varied and demanding interlocutors, in an international and multicultural context.
• Residence in Switzerland required.
Rigorous, dynamic and honest, you will demonstrate absolute discretion regarding the activities you will be responsible for, as well as autonomy and flexibility. Your synthesis skills, analytical sense and problem-solving ability will enable you to successfully carry out your various tasks.
