Head of Accounting (80 - 100%)

The city of Dietikon is the fifth largest municipality in the canton of Zurich and at the same time a dynamic district capital in the Limmat Valley with around 28,000 inhabitants.

The accounting department is an important service center for the administration. In a team of nine employees, we ensure efficient financial processes in a dynamic environment. We are always open to innovative ideas and processes. These shape our positive mindset. We are looking for a

• Personnel management of the accounting team with the two specialist areas of financial accounting as well as controlling and debt collection
• Planning and responsibility for the annual financial statements and participation in the budgeting process
• Liquidity management
• Responsibility for the operational operation of the ERP/financial software including the accounts payable workflow
• Development of lighthouse projects and monitoring of current trends in accounting
• Deputy head of the finance department and support in political matters

• Specialist in finance and accounting, finance certificate VZGV/IVM, business administration studies or comparable education
• Experience in public administration, but we are open to career changers
• Leadership experience
• Responsible, precise, resilient personality with assertiveness
• Comprehensive IT user knowledge, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics FIS, Abacus, M365
