Department: Social Work
Start of work: From February 1, 2026, or by arrangement / Application deadline until December 14, 2025
- You administer the process of acquisition, registration, admission, and enrollment procedures, including information events and admission exams.
- You plan, coordinate, and organize central events such as the master's welcome soirée and master thesis defenses.
- You process dispensations, deadline extensions, and compensations for disadvantages and are responsible for exam organization.
- You update the module descriptions and manage the internal student platform "Planet S".
- You support the program management in collaboration with lecturers, students, and internal departments (including minute-taking) as well as participation in committees.
- You ensure a high level of service quality and utilize synergies with other administrative units. You initiate, digitize, and further develop administrative processes as needed and targeted.
- The preferred working days are Wednesday and Thursday.
- You have a commercial education with several years of professional experience, ideally in the administration area of an educational organization.
- You bring solid IT user skills and a strong affinity for digitalization (MS Office, Evento, preferably Moodle and CRM).
- You work proactively, self-organized, and responsibly and are characterized by high self-discipline.
- You find a good balance between routine processes and new, creative solutions and enjoy experimenting and shaping.
- You are social, communicative, and enjoy interacting with people.
- You understand how to act integratively and utilize synergies.
- Your working style is proactive, flexible, and marked by high personal responsibility.

The Department of Social Work, one of eight departments at ZHAW, is one of the leading educational institutions in social work in Switzerland and offers education and training, research and development, as well as services. The department is divided into four thematically oriented institutes, the staff unit, and the Center for Education, Development, and Services. As an employee in the master's administration, you are part of the master’s team, currently consisting of three people.
