To complete its team due to an upcoming retirement, the Orientation and Careers Service (SOC) is looking for a psychologist specializing in career guidance.

Contract duration: Permanent
Work rate: 50%
Workplace: Lausanne, Dorigny
Your Activities
As part of your activities at SOC, you will conduct orientation and coaching interviews for UNIL students and graduates as well as competency assessment processes.
You will conduct individual information and counseling interviews on a variety of topics.
You will occasionally be involved in creating and facilitating thematic workshops on orientation, information, or employment for students.
You will participate in events organized by the service (Welcome Days, Days for high school students, Master’s Day, and forums-fairs for prospective students, etc.).
You will work in collaboration with other psychologists in the service as well as other team members, notably on internal projects. You will be in contact with people from other services involved in Student Affairs as well as Faculties. You may be called upon to contribute to the development of analytical tools to provide useful information to students and graduates.
Your Profile
- Master’s level training in counseling and career psychology
- Experience in the field of career guidance
- Organizational skills, analytical mindset, and adaptability
- Very good knowledge of English (B2)
- Personality with excellent listening and empathy skills, dynamic, able to work both independently and in a team
- Motivation to collaborate with diverse partners
- Interest in working with a young academic audience
- Knowledge of the functioning of the University of Lausanne, as well as the tertiary education sector, school education in Switzerland and abroad, is an asset
