What you can achieve
- Active participation in the development of research projects for the prevention and management of infectious diseases in complex contexts – with the goal of improving healthcare in Switzerland and worldwide
- Taking project responsibility and accountability for questions related to PhD research projects
- Data preparation and analysis in collaboration with the data management and statistics team
- Participation in teaching activities of the Department of Clinical Epidemiology
What you bring with you
- Master's degree, ideally in human medicine, public health, epidemiology, health or nursing sciences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English (French skills are an advantage but not mandatory)
- Basic knowledge in data management and data analysis
- Basic understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and willingness to acquire knowledge about other healthcare systems
- Willingness to undertake a research stay of 3 to 6 months in Lesotho
