Safety Officer - SiBe (100%), m/f/d Your main tasks
- You ensure compliance with legal requirements as well as internal Covestro regulations (CoRe's) – with overview and discretion.
- As the central contact person for safety and health topics, you communicate with internal departments and external partners.
- You competently and comprehensively advise managers and employees on all questions regarding occupational safety and health protection – your expertise is valued and used purposefully.
- You take over the planning, coordination, and implementation of all health and safety-related activities – reliably and proactively.
- You analyze accident statistics, identify causes, and develop targeted measures for prevention – actively enhancing the company’s safety culture.
- You organize, accompany, and conduct internal audits and inspections on occupational safety topics – deriving concrete improvements.
- You create well-founded risk analyses for workplaces and equipment as well as hazardous substances, always considering current legal requirements.
- You drive the continuous development of the safety standard – through effective measures management with a focus on prevention.

- You have completed vocational training in an industrial environment as well as further training in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS).
- You already have several years of experience as a Safety Officer (SiBe).
- You are characterized by an independent, responsible, and proactive working style and embody a pronounced safety culture.
- Your strengths lie in the structured review of processes, safety-conscious thinking, and team-oriented collaboration with various interfaces.
- You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills in speaking and
