To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Development Expert Data Center (a) who, with technical know-how, strategic foresight, and a strong sense for market and location potentials, lays the foundation for future major projects.
In this central position, you are responsible for developing new project ideas, coordinating partners, and ensuring that all technical, economic, and regulatory requirements are met. If you are passionate about shaping complex projects from the ground up and actively influencing the digital infrastructure of the future, we look forward to your application.
Your Responsibilities
- Development of project ideas and concepts for data centers and modern office buildings
- Conducting site analyses, market and competitive research to assess feasibility
- Creating schedules and supporting project structuring
- Coordinating architects, engineers, and specialist planners across all early project phases
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, standards, and regulations
- Obtaining all necessary permits and coordinating with authorities
- Preparing and presenting project progress, analyses, and decision-making bases for internal and external stakeholders
- Close collaboration with the real estate team in project development and marketing
Your Skills
- Experience in project development, technical planning, construction project management, or real estate analysis – ideally in the environment of data center, commercial, or office projects
- Strong understanding of technical, economic, and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of scheduling and project planning tools
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills and confident demeanor
- High willingness to travel, including for international projects
- Team player who values interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German and English skills are an advantage for international partners and documentation
