Desk secretary for the Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine Unit
The ultrasound and fetal medicine unit of the maternity ward is looking for a 50% desk secretary to complete its administrative team. Mandatory presence on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, and child and adolescent surgery services. More than 1,500 professionals work there. We offer comprehensive care for women in gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial aspects, as well as for children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You ensure a warm welcome and efficient administrative management of patients in the outpatient consultation
- You manage the reception of telephone calls and emails
- You organize appointment scheduling
- You keep patient files up to date
- You prepare files for archiving
- You perform all other administrative activities related to the outpatient consultation.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent recognized qualification
- You have at least 2 years of successful experience in the medical field
- You have perfect command of French spelling and a good knowledge of the healthcare system
- You are a versatile, organized, and autonomous person. Your collaborative spirit, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage priorities allow you to follow and manage several files simultaneously
- You have the capacity to handle a busy activity and work within a multidisciplinary team
- You are comfortable with MS Office software, and ideally with CHUV IT tools (Axya, Ultragenda, Medex, Soarian, and Archimède.)
