The Pedagogical Center for Hearing and Speech HSM Münchenbuchsee is a service center with a wide range of support and counseling services for children and adolescents with severe hearing and speech impairments and their environment.
The Audiopedagogical Service supports and accompanies hearing-impaired children and adolescents on an outpatient basis at their place of residence and/or school/workplace from the 1st to the 20th year of life.

In the audiopedagogical service, we accompany children and adolescents with hearing impairments on their journey – from the first steps in language development to the first vocational training. We support families, build bridges to daycares, schools, and training places, and advocate for every child to have opportunities for participation and development.

Tasks
Audiopedagogical support and care of hearing-impaired children and adolescents on an outpatient basis at their place of residence and/or school/workplace from the 1st to the 20th year of life.
- You accompany children and adolescents with hearing impairments on their individual educational path.
- You strengthen the child’s system through counseling and sensitization
- You support professionals in preschool, school, and training so that inclusion can succeed in everyday life.
- You create support plans and find creative ways to individually promote each child.
- You work with a network of professionals – interdisciplinary, in partnership, and with great commitment.
Requirements
Teacher: Kindergarten, primary school, with additional training in special education and - desired - training in hearing impaired pedagogy, or early education, speech therapy as well as willingness to further educate in audiopedagogy.
- Interest and joy in the individual pedagogical support of hearing-impaired children/adolescents in the integrative area and in counseling adults in the children’s environment.
- Driver: Trips to various workplaces, Interlaken region.
- Flair for technical devices (hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc.).
