Your mission: Shape the digital future of the insurance industry

For our Business Line Insurance, we are looking for you. As Head of Insurance, you are the strategic mind and entrepreneurial driver of our solution and consulting services for the insurance industry. You actively shape the digital transformation of our customers, position adesso as a thought leader, and significantly expand our business in this important segment. 

WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

As Head of Insurance, you take overall responsibility for our Business Line. Your focus is on growth, leadership, and innovation:

• Business Development & Sales: You drive the strategic expansion of the segment, acquire new customers, and maintain networks at the C-level.
• Leadership & Team Building: You lead your consultant and developer teams both professionally and disciplinarily, promote talents, and attract new experts for us.
• Portfolio Management: You further develop our service offerings and position forward-looking topics (e.g., AI, cloud, regulation) in the market.
• Project Excellence: You are responsible for quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction in our transformation projects.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Solid Knowledge: You have a successfully completed degree in (business) computer science, business administration with IT reference, or a comparable field.
• Leadership Experience: You have already proven yourself successfully in a comparable role in consulting or in-house consulting. You are an inspiring leader with the ability to motivate teams, set clear goals, and develop employees.
• Consulting Experience: At least 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in management consulting or in a leading role at an insurance company. You have a pronounced result-oriented and entrepreneurial working style with high cost and quality awareness.
• Technology Affinity: Profound understanding of IT architectures, core processes, and current challenges (digitalization, cloud, data analysis) of insurers.
• Sales Track Record: Proven success in acquiring and managing large projects with a multi-million revenue volume.
• Language Skills: Multilingualism (DE / FR / EN) is no big problem for you.
