Head of Production & Mechanical Training (m/f/d)

We employ around 130 employees in the business areas of research & development, sales, production, assembly, service, and support at our two locations in Murgenthal and Rothrist. We are looking for reinforcement for our team:

Your tasks

• You lead your team and are responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring the production processes
• Responsibility for continuous improvements in production workflows to achieve quality, efficiency, and cost reductions
• Active support of the team in daily business
• Intermediate and final inspections of the products
• Responsibility for recruiting, training, and supervising apprentices in the mechanical field
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing apprentice training
• Administrative tasks related to apprentices (e.g., training planning, evaluations, coordination with vocational schools and authorities)

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ with business management further education
• Professional experience in mechanical production and initial leadership experience
• Programming skills in Mastercam
• Enjoyment in training and supporting apprentices
• Trainer course or willingness to complete it promptly
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
