About the job
The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain first experience in the kitchen area in a limited assignment of 6 to 12 months starting immediately or by arrangement, at the Oberi Senior Center.
Your Tasks
- Ensuring the cleaning of dishes and furniture
- Assisting with daily kitchen cleaning
- Supporting the kitchen in preparing vegetables
- Helping with plating dishes
Your Profile
- Desire to gain first experience in the tasks of a catering operation and/or in the Swiss working environment
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding job
- Willingness to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
- You understand the Swiss dialect and have oral German skills
