Schlieren is a dynamic, growing city in the Limmattal with around 20,000 inhabitants. As a reliable employer, the city of Schlieren offers a professional environment to deliver excellent performance.

At the Schlieren school, around 50 motivated childcare staff shape the daily routine together with 550 children in the school’s extracurricular care. The children experience community and relationships with children and adults. They find time and space in play, shared meals, and activities to develop emotional and social skills appropriate to their age.

Childcare Specialist EFZ, 70% (initially limited until December 31, 2026)

The care team ensures the professional extracurricular care of the Zelgli school. You are jointly responsible for the educational design of the care offer.

We expect:

• Completed training as a childcare specialist (FaBe Kinderbetreuung)
• Work on all school days in the calendar year 2026
• Enjoyment of a lively operation and a flair for working with children
• Independence, teamwork, and flexibility in new and unfamiliar situations
• PC skills (Word, Excel)

Your tasks are:

• Caring for an after-school care group in collaboration with the group leader and after-school care management
• Contact with parents
