Actively shape the development of this central city on the northern edge of the Alps and in a unique location directly on Lake Thun!
We are looking for an experienced professional to start immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks:
- You actively engage with all issues of urban development, urban planning, and open space planning in the city of Thun and contribute your previous experience and knowledge.
- In exchange with the team and external experts, you design the appropriate processes and procedures for the respective issues.
- You handle and accompany planning from the object level to area and neighborhood development within the framework of quality assurance procedures and the assessment of architectural and urban quality as well as their implementation in land use planning and concepts.
- You lead work and project groups and work closely with private and public partners.
- You prepare the results for further implementation as well as for political and public discussion.
You bring with you:
- A university or university of applied sciences degree in a spatial and planning-related discipline.
- You are innovative and agile in thinking and result-oriented in action.
- You understand urban development as a dynamic process and work independently, interdisciplinarily, structured, and proactively accordingly.
- Thanks to several years of experience, you are practiced and convincing in leading complex processes and accompanying quality assurance procedures.
- Good communication skills, a constructive, open attitude, and negotiation skills complete your profile.
