Application Developer MS Azure 80 - 100%The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich.
It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the office accompanies the canton into the digital world.

With innovative technologies such as Microsoft Azure Cloud, Power Platform, C#, .NET, React, and AI, we develop solutions that digitally advance the Canton of Zurich. Therefore, we are looking for you as additional reinforcement in our team.
What you will achieve with us:
- Build and further develop our application landscape on Microsoft Azure
- Develop applications, components, and interfaces in C# .NET and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Subproject management or collaboration in customer projects
- Support and technical further development of existing solutions
- Participate in the development of guidelines and development standards
- Coordinate internal staff and external partners
What you bring
- Completed education in (business) informatics or comparable qualifications
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Solid project and development experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Very good knowledge of C# .NET, ASP.NET, and TypeScript/JavaScript (e.g., React, Angular)
- Good experience with SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Design, and CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps
- Enjoy direct contact with our customers
- Strong communication skills, quick comprehension, and initiative
- Committed, creative, and resilient personality, with team spirit and willingness to learn new things
