The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The operating room has a modern and varied technical platform with 10 operating rooms, 2 of which are dedicated to emergency surgery.
To complete our team, we are looking for a:
ATSSO / Operating Room Assistant M/F at 80%-100%
The main duties of this position are
- Assisting the instrument nurse
- Participating in the maintenance of the patient environment and care equipment
- Participating in patient positioning
- Handling medical devices and ensuring their proper functioning
- Developing and maintaining knowledge to adapt to all new developments
- As a member of the care team, contributing to the smooth running of the service
- Participating in the improvement of the quality and safety of care
We require
- To hold the ATSSO diploma or be willing to undertake the training
- Experience in a multidisciplinary operating room would be an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and professional software tools.
- Organizational skills in work, ability to manage and handle equipment, and ensure hygiene and safety rules
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Quick adaptability and rigor in applying current procedures
- Physical condition suitable for the position
