Center for Health Law and Management in Healthcare
Start of employment: April 1, 2026, or by arrangement
The Center for Health Law and Management in Healthcare at the University of Bern is a central part of the Faculty of Law. It offers legal education, research, and continuing education in the field of health law and has also been involved in the master's program in pharmacy since autumn 2020.
Furthermore, the center consolidates its continuing education offerings in the "Management in Healthcare" program, which was developed in collaboration with the Faculties of Law, Economics, Social Sciences, and Medicine at the University of Bern. This interdisciplinary program includes several courses of study, including diploma and master's degrees (DAS, MAS) as well as certificate courses (CAS).
Tasks
The main focus of the work is the organization and supervision of the university master's continuing education program in Health Administration / Public Health. This includes, among other things:
- The announcement of the program
- Assistance in preparing course materials
- Support for lecturers and participants during and between course dates
- Organization of the graduation ceremony
- Support of the alumni association
Requirements
- Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience
- Organizational skills
- You enjoy taking responsibility
- Independent, efficient, and precise work
- Confident appearance
- Service-oriented approach
- You appreciate working with people
- Willingness to work flexibly in terms of time
- Fluent German in spoken and written form
- Proficiency in common MS Office programs and an understanding of modern communication media
- Good English skills and additional language skills are an advantage
