About the job
The City of Lausanne promises citizen participation through a neighborhood policy. To promote quality of life as well as social ties within the framework of the construction of the Plaines-du-Loup eco-neighborhood, the Municipality has equipped the Bossons/Blécherette neighborhood of the City with a neighborhood house. This will consist of 2 locations: the current center called "la Cabane des Bossons" and the future La Louve neighborhood house, scheduled to open in May 2026. We are looking to complete the team to develop the sociocultural animation of the neighborhood.
Mission(s)
- Ensure the operational implementation of the institutional project of the La Louve neighborhood house
- Oversee the development and adjustment of practices
- Supervise temporary instructors, replacement staff, and ensure the follow-up of interns according to internal organization
- Document the animation practices of the neighborhood house
- Develop relationships with external partners and ensure communication delegated by the neighborhood house manager
- Contribute to the management of the neighborhood house by actively participating in house meetings and assuming administrative and related tasks
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in sociocultural animation or equivalent qualification
- Valid D1 driving license for bus driving (14 children + 3 adults), desired
- Minimum 3 years of confirmed professional experience in sociocultural animation activities
- Professional experience with youth is an asset
- Good knowledge of cultural programming
- Good knowledge of participatory approaches
- Knowledge of collective reception places and group dynamics
- Knowledge of French, German, and Romand
- Excellent organizational skills and priority management
- Team spirit
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
