Tasks
- Install and maintain Smart Meter and control devices.
- Set up and implement communication, mainly fiber optic connections.
- Maintain third-party meters, primarily water meters.
Skills
- Completed training as an electrical installer or equivalent.
- Ability to independently create fiber optic installations.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, German proficiency required.

About the job
IB-Murten supplies electricity to over 2500 households. We are responsible for the high quality and secure supply of the municipalities of Murten, Meyriez, and Muntelier. With the introduction of the intelligent metering system (Smart Meter System), we want to take a big step towards digitalization with you and make the supply network smarter.

Your tasks
- Installation and maintenance of smart meters and control devices
- Creation and commissioning of communication (mostly fiber optic connections)
- Installation and maintenance of third-party meters (mostly water meters)
- Maintenance of meter and communication information in the respective software solutions
Your profile
- Completed training as an electrician or an equivalent qualification
- Independent creation of fiber optic installations or willingness to acquire this skill
- Interest in future-oriented communication technologies and data networks
- A structured, precise, and analytical way of working
- Open, solution-oriented, and communicative personality
- Good MS Office skills
- Driver's license for passenger vehicles
- Fluent in German, French is an advantage
