Your responsibilities include human resources administration such as job postings, complete application management, creating and modifying employment contracts and continuing education agreements, maintaining personnel files, drafting interim and employment references, handling employee departures, and managing sickness and accident absences. You prepare evaluations (Abacus) and independently write simpler reports and proposals to the city council. Organizing staff events is as enjoyable to you as supervising an intern as a practical trainer. If needed, you occasionally assist with recruitment.
For this pivotal role, you have completed a commercial basic education, further training as a human resources clerk, confident German language skills, and are proficient in using Word and Excel applications. If you also bring solid user knowledge of Abacus, we are thrilled. You are characterized by reliability, precise work, independence, and discretion. You have already gained several years of professional experience in human resources, maintain respectful interactions with people, are resilient, and do not lose track even with diverse demands.
We offer an interesting area of responsibility, fair working conditions, equal opportunities, a pleasant working atmosphere in a small team, and a modern workplace in the old town of Aarau. You benefit from numerous perks such as free use of city institutions, various shopping discounts, as well as Reka, lunch check, and fitness subscription discounts.
We look forward to your application including your desired workload. For questions, please contact Marianne Iseli, Head of Human Resources, at T 062 836 05 74.
