Main tasks
- Planning, co-designing, conducting, and leading on-site inspections at UBS domestically and abroad, mainly in the areas of asset management ("Global Wealth Management") and conduct supervision (Conduct)
- Communicating the results of on-site inspections to UBS senior management
- Close collaboration in the role of a cross-sectional function with UBS supervision and relevant specialists
- Ensuring documentation of results; in-depth clarification of supervisory-relevant regulatory violations and related issues of the supervised institution; development of solution proposals and measures on an organizational, personnel, operational, or financial basis
- Cooperation with foreign supervisory authorities (especially USA, Asia, and UK)
- Bringing new ideas into our workflows and tools
Profile
- University degree in economics or law, ideally further training as a certified public accountant or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- At least 5 years of professional experience at a banking regulatory audit firm or an internal bank audit department
- Experience in project management and analysis, as well as very good organizational/coordination skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
- High judgment ability and very good oral and written communication skills with a convincing presence at all hierarchical levels
- Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented personality with a convincing presence, negotiation skills, and a touch of humor
- Excellent German and English skills (C2) or very good knowledge of the other language (B2)
