The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family day care, which includes about seventy family-based caregivers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking, for a maternity leave replacement (fixed-term contract), for a:
Childcare Educator ES/HES or Socio-educational Assistant CFC at 69% annualized
(reference 25.31 ESS)
The workplace is located at the UAPE of Essertines-sur-Yverdon, a facility with a capacity of up to 60 places. The working days are spread over 4 days (excluding school holidays). Your mission:
  • Provide quality support to the children received, ensuring their well-being and safety in accordance with the institutional project and within the framework of current regulations.
  • Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the interest of the child.
  • Foster a quality relationship and exchanges with children, families, colleagues, and external services.
Your profile:
Comfortable in communication, curious, creative, you wish to join a committed team that follows a pedagogy placing the child at the center of educational actions. You are recognized for your ability to work in a team, your listening skills, patience, and flexibility. You are Swiss or hold a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record. We offer:
