What you can achieve
- Conducting the annual regeneration control (determining the impact of game on forest regeneration) on approximately 200 permanent samples in the diverse forests of the canton.
- Owner-specific and operation-specific control sample inventory on the permanent sampling network (1 sample per 2 ha of forest): Collection of stock, growth, ingrowth, use, and loss by tree species. Function-dependent assessment of the urgency of silvicultural interventions.
- Temporary support for district foresters

- Training as a forestry or environmental specialist, forest ranger HF or comparable training
- Application knowledge GIS (QGIS), GNSS
- Enjoyment and endurance in working in the forest in the (pre-)Alpine topography of the canton of Schwyz
- Sure-footedness in challenging terrain
- Efficient working style, team-oriented independence
- Willingness to perform work in the summer months with time compensation over the winter
- Driver's license category B and own vehicle suitable for forest roads (expense compensation)
