SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS MBA FOR GERMAN 145 - 200%

The Kantonsschule Enge Zurich is a short-term high school with the Matura profiles "Economics and Law", "New Languages" and "Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology" as well as a commercial secondary school (HMS). In the Economics and Law profile, we also offer a bilingual Matura course in German/English. In addition, we run some classes in the "Akzent Campus", where an innovative teaching model with phase teaching is combined with a focus on sustainability and cooperation. With 170 teachers, 30 staff in administration and operations, and over 1,100 students, the Kantonsschule Enge is one of the largest secondary schools in the canton.

Your tasks

Starting from the autumn semester 2026/27 (or by arrangement from the beginning of the spring semester 2026), 145 to 200 percent positions as secondary school teachers MBA for the subject German are to be filled. The employment conditions correspond to the cantonal requirements for secondary school teachers MBA. In particular, with regard to the potentials and challenges of WegZH and digital teaching and learning, school development and innovation work are explicitly desired and included in the job description.

Your profile

Requirements for employment are a completed university master's degree and the teaching qualification for the subject German at Zurich secondary schools. You are an open-minded, team-oriented, and committed personality with didactic and pedagogical skills. You enjoy engaging with students and provide them with intensive learning support in lessons and projects. You design your lessons competence-oriented according to contemporary principles. The meaningful use of digital media is an everyday part of your teaching practice. You are also interested in questions of teaching and school development.
