The Department of Fundamentals and Policy is committed to analyses and political statements in the fields of social, migration, and development policy, with a special focus on the impact on the most vulnerable in society. It addresses socio-political issues connected to the operational work and political engagement of Caritas Switzerland.
Your tasks
- Collaborate in the planning and implementation of various modules (events, webinars, publications, etc.) of public relations and political positioning
- Preparation of data and insights from the operational work of Caritas Switzerland in international cooperation and their utilization for political positioning
- Collaboration in maintaining the development policy network of Caritas Switzerland
Our requirements
- University degree
- Knowledge of Swiss development policy and international cooperation
- Professional experience or voluntary or political engagement in the development policy context or in international cooperation
- Experience in communications as well as in organizing and conducting events or campaigns
- Existing network in the development policy field and/or in international cooperation
- First language German or French, very good knowledge of the other language, very good English skills
