Specialist in Disability-Specific Counseling 30-50%

The disability-specific counseling supports regular schools in the Muri/Bremgarten district in integrating children with cognitive impairments. With this service, school staff can rely on professional support for questions or uncertainties.

• Consultation for teachers, specialists, and school administrations on school-related and disability-specific issues
• Support during entry and transition situations as well as observational participation in lessons followed by exchange
• Participation in expert panels and status meetings
• Organization of further training for regular schools
• Close cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies
• Degree in School Special Education (focus on cognitive impairment)
• Experience working with people with cognitive impairments and experience with the regular school system of the canton of Aargau
• Experience in counseling and coaching
• Extensive knowledge in the field of supported communication
• Driver's license and own vehicle
• Independent and varied activity
• Careful onboarding and collegial working atmosphere
