The state and youth prosecutor's office is responsible for all criminal proceedings regarding offenses, misdemeanors, and violations. Its responsibilities include, among other things, the prosecution and assessment as well as the enforcement of the imposed sanctions on juvenile offenders in the canton of Glarus.
We are looking for a
Social Worker in Youth Prosecutor's Office 40–50 %
starting October 1, 2025, or by agreement with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Clarification of the personal circumstances of the youth
- Enforcement of protective measures and penalties
- Taking over personal care
- Monitoring of outpatient treatments
- Accompanying the youth during placements
Requirements
- Training as a social worker (Bachelor of Science FHO in Social Work or equivalent training)
- Professional experience in youth or criminal law care desired
- High social competence, empathy, and teamwork ability
- Independence, resilience, and assertiveness
