In this varied role, you will be responsible for the care of our bathers and ensuring safe operations.
Allschwil is one of the largest municipalities in Northwestern Switzerland and is an innovative suburb of Basel. The proximity to this city shapes Allschwil's character without the municipality losing its political and mental independence.
For our indoor pool, we are looking for a swimming pool attendant starting from September 15, 2025, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
• Water and operational supervision, ensuring a safe bathing operation
• Care for our bathers – rescue / first aid in case of emergency
• Maintenance, cleaning, and disinfection work
• Monitoring water quality and maintenance of the facilities
• Administrative tasks
Your profile
• Completed vocational training; training as a swimming pool attendant (BAUU) is an advantage
• Professional experience as a swimming pool attendant desired
• Pro certificate (IGBA or SLRG), or motivated to obtain it soon
• Customer-friendly demeanor, confident interaction with bathers
• Willingness to work in shifts, occasionally on Saturdays and Sundays
• Technical understanding of pool water treatment and manual skills
• Active support and collaboration in the revision of our facilities
• Service orientation, resilience, and enjoyment of teamwork

In our school indoor pool with public use, the percentage of positions for this role is distributed over several working days in the morning, mid, and late shifts.
