Graduate Assistant in Social Sciences
Job Information
Start date: September 1, 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 100%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Salary: CHF 67,568.- ( increasing each year )
Your Activities
- At least 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis in social sciences.
- Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to supporting teaching and research tasks (teaching activities under the responsibility of a professor, research work not related to personal research, and activities related to the life of the affiliated unit).
Your Profile
We wish to hire a person with the following profile:
- Master's degree in social sciences, or equivalent qualification;
- Fluency in French with very good knowledge of English;
- Excellent knowledge of contemporary China and/or Chinese presence internationally;
- A background in Chinese or Asian studies or research conducted in this field would be an asset.
