We provide education at Lake Zurich
The Education Center Lake Zurich (BZZ) is a cantonal vocational school with locations in Horgen and Stäfa. We train apprentices in the professions of media informatics, computer science, and childcare and offer commercial training programs. Computer science middle school students attend specialized classes at BZZ. As a recognized vocational baccalaureate location, we offer the BM orientation in Business and Services, type Business.
We are looking for a teacher mbA for the training of Specialist Woman/ Specialist Man Care (FaBe) specializing in Children (60-80%) starting September 1, 2026.
Your tasks
- Providing vocational subject teaching FaBe specialization "Children" on four weekdays
- Engagement in subject groups, working groups, and projects
- Creating computer-based, practical, and action-oriented teaching units
- Collaborating in the further development of the FaBe professional field
- Willingness to take on organizational, methodological-didactic, and pedagogical additional tasks within the framework of school development (mbA teacher)
Your profile
- A professional education at tertiary level (highest professional field-related qualification), e.g., Social Work FH (specialization in social pedagogy), degree in (special) pedagogy/psychology (MSc), social pedagogy HF, child education HF, teaching diploma in a full-time position and teaching experience at EFZ level
- Experience in teaching learners with compensatory measures
- Practical experience in out-of-family care areas (after-school care, nursery, socio-pedagogical institutions, etc.)
- Willingness to teach vocational subjects with a high theory-practice transfer
- Teamwork skills, resilience, and joy in supporting young people during their vocational training
- Above-average IT skills and willingness to conduct computer-based teaching
