Project Manager Public Transport Planning
Office for Energy and Transport | 80-100% | Chur
The Office for Energy and Transport is the cantonal competence center for questions in the areas of energy and public transport. In the field of public transport, we are responsible for the strategic planning and mutual coordination of all public transport in the canton of Graubünden. We coordinate public transport by train and bus and take the lead in planning, designing, and implementing projects for a future-oriented public transport system. Good connections to the national and international rail network as well as regular and frequent connections in regional and commuter traffic are of central importance for maintaining and further developing the living, tourism, and economic area of Graubünden.
We are looking for a project manager for public transport planning for the Office for Energy and Transport starting December 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Handling the annual timetable process
- Planning the public transport offer in the canton of Graubünden on rail and road
- Implementation and further development of the public transport concept in the canton
- Support of the federal strategic development programs (STEP)
- Development of regional operating concepts
- Project management
What we expect from you
- Transport engineer or transport planner or vocational training in the planning field with business management further education and interest in public transport in the canton of Graubünden
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, negotiation skills, and tact in dealing with authorities, associations, and transport companies
- Experience in independently handling conceptual issues
- Confident command of the German language in spoken and written form
- Good knowledge of Italian is an advantage
