Facility Manager (District Manager) (80%-90%)
For the Department of Civil Protection, Fire Brigade, and District Office, which is responsible in the City of Langenthal for all matters of civil protection and the management of the properties of the District Office, we are looking for a qualified person from May 1, 2026 or by arrangement
This is your job
- Ensuring and coordinating the operation of the District Office (troop accommodation, old fire station, soup kitchen), the market hall, and the Weiher shooting range
- Advising and supporting customers of the properties within the area of responsibility in response to inquiries and on-site during operation (accommodation, storage, etc.)
- Maintenance and cleaning work (including minor repairs)
- Handover and acceptance of premises as well as issuing and returning loaned materials
- Supervision of the caretakers of the Weiher shooting range
- Various administrative tasks (creating appointment calendars, permits, checking invoices, etc.)
- If suitable: Member of the Langenthal Fire Brigade (deployments during working hours and attendance at training sessions)
- Participation in the operations committee of the Weiher shooting range

- Completed training in a craft profession, ideally as a facility maintenance specialist
- Ideally additional training such as caretaker
- Willingness to work outside regular office hours
- Manual skills and technical understanding
- Physical resilience
