Your tasks

As a Junior Audit & Assurance in the Insurance sector in Zurich, your areas of responsibility include:

• As a junior, you will work in a team of trained experts, among other things, on the execution of external financial and regulatory audits of national and international insurance companies (OR, IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER).
• In the summer, you have time to pursue your training to become a certified public accountant. We support you and ensure that you have enough time for exam preparation and offer exchanges for tips & tricks with trained experts.

• As a junior, you also work on assignments in internal audits for national and international insurance companies across all sectors (health, reinsurance, life, and property insurance). Additionally, you can support our team in special audits according to ISAE 3402 and PS 950.
• During your work – whether in external or internal audit – you will have contact with CFOs, CEOs, and members of the board of directors of our clients. Thus, you will gain early responsibility and learn to independently conduct meetings and give presentations. We are happy to promote your soft skills and support you in this.
• If interested, you can also participate in consulting mandates, for example in risk management, compliance, forensic, and transaction services for insurance companies.
• Finally, you can also get involved in business development initiatives. For example, you can help shape proposals, organize events, or recruit new colleagues.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance (or related fields) and are interested in further training to become a certified public accountant.
• You are motivated and interested in the insurance industry as well as consulting topics such as risk management or internal control systems.
• You are an entrepreneurial personality who wants to contribute to the development and growth of Forvis Mazars.
• You are a team player who enjoys supporting innovations and transformations.
