Head of Finance (a)
Our finance team is responsible for the accounting of seven operating companies with branches at eleven different Swiss locations (managed as profit centers) as well as a real estate, management, and holding company. The accounting for all companies is done centrally in Rothenburg/LU.
We are looking for a committed personality to actively support our finance team of seven people. If you enjoy leading employees, working with numbers, structures, and processes, you are exactly right with us.
- Ensuring the continuous development of the financial accounting team
- Personnel and professional management of accounting with the areas of financial and operational accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting for all group companies
- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR)
- Critical analysis and review of the prepared financial statements for plausibility and accuracy
- Efficient management of accounts receivable processes, cash management, and liquidity planning
- Responsible for VAT and other indirect and direct taxes
- Contact person for banks, tax authorities, auditors, and external audits
- Identification and implementation of optimization potentials in existing processes as well as active design and further development of administrative procedures
- Independent preparation of statistical evaluations
- Assistance in budgeting
- Contact person for inquiries from business/technical departments
- Several years of experience in finance/accounting
- Higher education in finance and accounting or comparable further training
- Leadership experience, communication skills, and assertiveness
- Fluent German; knowledge of English, French, and/or Italian is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office
